Corrections Policy

Yiptung Trade welcomes well-supported correction requests and distinguishes factual corrections from differences of opinion.

Our aim is to correct meaningful errors, preserve useful context, and make update history understandable to readers.

What qualifies for review

Factual error

An incorrect date, name, figure, rule, product feature, quotation, link, or description that can be checked against reliable evidence.

Material omission

Missing context that significantly changes how a reasonable reader would understand a risk, obligation, limitation, or conclusion.

Outdated information

A regulation, rate, official process, service feature, or market fact that changed after publication.

Presentation problem

A broken link, mislabeled table, inaccessible layout, duplicate heading, or technical error that prevents correct use of the page.

How to submit a correction

  1. Email contact@yiptung.com with the subject “Correction Request — Article Title.”
  2. Include the full page URL.
  3. Quote or describe the exact passage at issue.
  4. Explain why it is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
  5. Provide a reliable source, preferably an official or primary source.

How requests are handled

1. Triage

We confirm whether the request concerns a verifiable fact, a technical problem, an opinion, or a transaction-specific dispute.

2. Source check

We compare the published statement with reliable and current sources from the relevant jurisdiction.

3. Editorial decision

We correct, clarify, update, or retain the passage based on the evidence.

4. Publication

Material changes may receive an updated date or correction note. Minor grammar and formatting fixes may be made silently.

Correction levels

What this policy does not cover

We do not adjudicate private commercial disputes, determine legal liability, alter accurate content merely because it is unfavorable, or remove public-interest information without a valid factual, legal, privacy, or safety basis.
